  • Well i think you have a 1943 B, 136315 is the first B made in 1943, so its a early 43. In other words it a war model!!You going to restore it?

  • Looking at the serial # on this website, the first number for 1942 is 126345 and the first # for 1943 is 143420. That would put yours somewhere in the last half of 1942. Does it have a 4 speed or a 6 speed transmission? I believe 1941 was when they went from 4 to 6 speeds, but I'm not sure.

  • My uncle bought one like that back in the early 70's paid less than 100. Then one day around 1980 he was mowing his alfalfa when a large flatbed truck drove by, stopped and drove into his hay field. The driver jumped out and gave my uncle 500 on the spot for his B. Well, they unhooked the mower, and the B went on the truck. no idea of the serial number. I can remember the spoke wheels front and back. 4-15 on the front and 9-36 or 38 on the rear.
